Do I measure my existing door?

No, it is important to measure your finished opening. The finished opening is the inside measurements of the door jamb.

Do you sell complete hardware packages?

All doors are sold as a complete unit including the finished door and complete hardware to hange the door. Our hardware is not compatible with other manufacturer's door systems. We sell most replacement parts. Contact our customer service department at 1-800-828-3655 for details.
Do you supply a jamb with your doors?

Yes, certain sizes are available. Please consult our customer service department for available sizes. Click on the links below for additional information.

Do your doors come in pairs or singles?

All doors are available as singles or pairs. The smallest pair of doors that we make is two doors into a 36-inch wide opening. The largest single door we make is one door into a 48-inch wide opening. Contact us at 1-800-828-3655 for details.
Does Eliason install doors?

We do not install doors. The installation is very simple, all hardware surface mounts.
How do I determine the hand on a double action door?

View the opening from the customer side. If the hinge is on the right side, it is a right hand door. If the hinge is on the left side, then it is a left hand door.
How do I determine the type of door to use?

First, determine what type of traffic is going through your opening (pedestrian, two wheel carts, push carts or motorized pallet jacks). Then determine your desired finish (metal clad, stainless steel, plastic or decorative laminates). Contact us at 1-800-828-3655 if you are not sure what door model to select.
Is freight included in the price of doors?

All published prices are FOB Factory. Freight is NOT INCLUDED.
What colors are available?

Stock color options for all door models are accessible by clicking the link below each door picture on all door categories pages of this website. If you have questions about a custom or special color or finish, please contact our customer service department at 1-800-828-3655.
What door sizes are stock?

We do not stock any finished doors.
What is the production time for your doors?

This depends on the door type. Normal production time is 2-3 weeks unless a special laminate or window is required.
What kind of jamb is required?

1. For light traffic, a double studded 2X4 is adequate.

2. For medium traffic, use a reinforced hollow metal jamb.

3. For high impact and heavy traffic openings use steel channel jambs.

Where can I find a local dealer?

Eliason sells factory direct. In many cases your contractor or installer can purchase the doors.
